Nozzle

Nozzles, often also called ‘jets’, are attached to the printhead. The purpose of the nozzle is to act as a channel for the ink as it goes from the ink tank to the paper. One printhead may contain hundreds of nozzles, each of them much smaller than a hair on your head.

Printerhead cleaning cartridges, are used for cleaning the nozzles and is recommended to be used on a regular basis to prolong the life of the ink cartridge.
