Dell Ink Cartridges

Michael Dell founded his company 1984 in student room in Austin, with a startup capital of only $1000. The idea was to eliminate the middle man and sell computer directly to customers. That way they could sell at lower prices, and by offering complete systems the customer would not have to assemble the computer himself. While Dell wasn’t first with this idea, they were one of the first to succeed with it financially. By the 90’s, it was one of the largest computer companies, and had expanded overseas.

After 2000, the company expanded to other markets, such as television, projectors, digital audio players and printers. In recognition of this, the company changed name from “Dell Computer Corporation” to only “Dell Inc.” in 2003. The same year, the company entered the printer market, after a deal with Lexmark. Lexmark would then manufacture the printers to be sold under the Dell brand.

The printers sold by Dell include laser printers and all-in-one inkjet printers that combine printing, scanning and faxing.
