Kyocera Mita Ink Cartridges

Kyocera Mita Printer Cartridges

In 1959, Dr. Kazuo Inamori founded Kyoto Ceramic Co., Ltd, later shortened to Kyocera. The company originally specialized in ceramic components. Their first product was Kelcima, a ceramic insulator. In the 60’s they made ceramic semiconductors for the NASA space program. In 1979, however, they started to manufacture electronics. Among their products was one of the first laptop computers. They have also ventured into film cameras, digital cameras, cassette players, CD players, solar cells and mobile phones.

In 2000, Kyocera acquired Mita Industrial, a photocopier manufacturer. It became a subsidiary company, Kyocera Mita. Today there products include monochrome printers, color printers, monochrome copiers, multifunction products and wide-format imaging systems.

The products are manufactured according to the company’s ECOSYS concept, which aims to reduce maintenance costs and make long-lasting components.
